Case of the Mondays #39: Crater Lake

Ah, it's another Monday. The dreaded start of another week. Work has you down? The email inbox has exploded over the weekend? Fret not! Today we are back to western US and the amazing Crater Lake in south central Oregon:

One of the deepest and cleanest lakes in the world, Crater Lake is formed in a crater of an old volcano and gets all of its water from rain and melting snow while evaporation keeps the water level fairly constant. Unlike other lakes, there are no rivers flowing in or out of this lake. The nearby Mt. Scott is the tallest peak in Crater Lake National Park with elevation of 8938 feet and a fairly strenuous hike to the top. The views from there are worth every drop of sweat, as you can probably tell.
