Case of the Mondays #6: Cameron Highlands

tea2.jpg

Today's Case of the Mondays series is off to the mountainous region of Malaysia appropriately called Cameron Highlands. Cool and damp climate there is ideal for growing tea so the area has many tea plantations to explore. So while you are gearing up for another week, grab a cup of your favorite tea (fine, you can have a cup of coffee too) and enjoy the view!

For the first-timers, here are the rules: click on the picture to enlarge it, wait for it to load, scroll around and enjoy the view, then click anywhere to return to reality. Don’t forget to click “Like” to the left and maybe even pin it on Pinterest! Feel free to share this on your Facebook or LinkedIn to help your other friends and coworkers with their Case of the Mondays as well :)

Tea Plantation in Cameron Highlands

Besides tea plantations, there are lots of strawberry patches there as well. Once an area rich in opium production, the government is working hard to get the villagers to grow other crops. While there, we also trekked into the jungle to see the world's largest flower and almost ran into a tiger! You can read the full story here (of course, during your lunch break!)
