Case of the Mondays #12: Pai Canyon

Another week has gone by and it's Monday all over again. If that was not enough, here in Oklahoma a nice and warm weekend is replaced by below freezing temperatures once again. So my thoughts are going back to places I was around this time a year ago and I found another panorama I took in northern Thailand - a canyon near the small hippy village called Pai. It's no Grand Canyon, or even the Blyde River Canyon featured a couple weeks ago, but it has its own beauty - so sit back, relax, open up the full version of this panorama and enjoy!

That day was the first time I rode a scooter - by far the most common method of transportation in South East Asia. Me and Nicolas, a German I met at my hostel in Chiang Mai, rented those bad boys (for about $3 for a day!) and decided to explore places near Pai. From elephant rides to cool waterfalls, it was a day full of adventure that I have already written about in an earlier post.
